Primals Loot: Consider choosing "greed" even if you can "need"

What if Extreme Primal will upgrade Titan to better than Relic +1 (otherwise, what's the point of Extreme?)?

Best thing to do would probably be go ahead and hope they drop something other than weapons because I really don't see them making relic +1 lower than primal drops just yet. Very little point in doing them when they're probably expecting people to have atleast their regular relic going into these fights just to have them drop weps.

Hey FFXIV community. I just wanted to ask everybody to please consider choosing "greed" even if you can choose "need" when primal loot drops. Why? Well, often other players in the group could benefit much more, but are unable to choose "need" because of how the loot system currently works. This is especially true if you're beating Titan for your relic weapon -- you're going to replace that Titan weapon immediately with the relic, so why not let somebody who could really use it have a shot?

Remember that you can't currently turn these in for seals, so there's not much of a point of grabbing a bunch of them and letting them sit (at least not at the moment).

Though these weapons require Lv50, by which point you'll have the associated job (unless you're fate grinding and didn't care to get all the extra skills from your class quests), right?

I will typically Need in a random group any time it comes up. I feel others have no duty to me; they should also Need each time it's available.

Inside a FC the rules change, and I will pass on gear to equip someone else. This action benefits me directly if that person will be gaming with me in the future.

Through Duty Finder there is no such guarantee, thus limited reward for being generous.

Eh I still like equipping just pugilist/marauder sometimes so I can't use relic weapon then.

Not going to happen.
If I'm doing a Primal and the class/job weapon drops that I am currently on and I don't have it I'm going to Need it. Plain and simple.
Other than that I'll Greed, and If you're on a Job that needs the drop and you Greed because it's what you "think should be done" and I win the roll, well guess you're just SoL.

Big no from me. If you need it so much run the primal on the class you NEED it on. I'm not greeding anything that I actually NEED. (FC is another story, I assume this id DF babble.)

I'm a Spear Collector own all the primal spear including my relic :P sorry if I did roll need I just had to have it lol <3
