    SE DOL BROKEN

    What you say how are they broken let me explain.
    1) exp does not scale appropriately with the level item u are gathering
    2) GP if and when it does regen only takes 4 hours of your day.
    3) Buffs use an outrageous amount of GP for them not to last longer then one gather spot would a WHM cast protect after every fight?
    4) There is no party exp u cannot get a grp together and grp mine or gather and help each other level u are banished to hours of alone time while you watch the bots fly from node to node.
    5) No fate and no real quests other then levees and thats only if u have the allowances so is it supposed to be painful or just set up so only botters want to do it?

    SO SE Give us faster regen on GP and let us have grp exp and for gods sake let our buffs last last for more then one node and we will love you for it.

    1) I'm with you; XP suddenly seems to stop scaling up to ANY degree (fishing is an exception if you go to the right places though)
    2) It seems that GP is designed toward the endgame gathering of unspoiled nodes which spawn far apart and one-at-a-time. Hard as it is to hear, it is working as intended.
    3) The skills DO seem to need more balancing in regards to cost/reward (most of all I want the cost of Wards to come down!!)
    4) I would love a group system; as it is now you have the skills which grant 100% gather & 100%HQ gather past a certain chain bonus though. We'll need a significant overhaul of the system to balance in parties considering that skill.
    5) There is a lot of talk bouncing around the forums regarding this- especially FATE/dungeon activity. I would hope SE puts something together soon; but it probably won't make the first major patch.

    I think the XP gain is fine. If you compare the time spent between gathering a node and synthing an item, you'll see the time to xp gain is proportional. Leves are really the best way to level up, but having other options can't hurt either.

    XP is fine. I got my last levels from 45 to 50 on Miner in Mor Dhona in about six hours of leves at most. If anything, it's too easy.

    DoL is too easy to level. If anything you should gain slightly less exp because playing DoL classes demands nothing from the player, you walk up to a mineral deposit or tree and click on the item you want to gather..

    DoL trash

    SE you really need to do something about this system that you have with DoL. In version 1.0 i had fun leveling and gathering items but on this game its stupid and a waste of time. I have to wait a certain time to not mine a item but try to mine it and if i miss the mine i have to wait a whole game day to try again this is BS . I had fun playing 1.0 this trash feel like im playing ffxi again and i refuse to play that gain . I dont care that im legacy and all that other crap fix the game that way everyone can have fun . This is not fun at all anymore. Im 50 all jobs so im not bit?? because i cant level . im bit?? because its no FUN PLAYING THIS GAME ANYMORE. TO ME all you needed to do is add content to 1.0

    Taking leeves into account is the wrong angle to look at gathering. I can get 6K xp and more from a single craft without doing any leeves, that's no afford either. Leeves shouldn't be the key to leveling DoL classes since some people like to keep their leeves for other classes. DoM/DoW have fates as alternative and the xp gain there isn't comparable to gathering either. It should be possible to level DoL classes without burning all your leeves and without the feeling of massive grinding.

    And there are possible ways SE could go like more supply missions for gatherers each day. More Quests for DoL classes or even better repeatable quests and so on.

    I agree on GP regen. It needs to scale based on how much you have.

    Xp gain is fine though. With appropriate gear, without the gathering xp buff or food, you can gain 250k-300k xp per hour while gathering at 40+ without leves. The result is a level every 2 hrs or less. That's really not that bad.

    I actually feel like it's too easy to level up. Less tedium would be nice, though.
