    Cant launch the game on Ps3

    Hello to everyone.

    First of all sorry for my bad english, I'm from Italy and I will try to explain the best way I can.

    I have a big big trouble with A Realm Reborn for Ps3 =( I have bought 2 copies of the game, both retail version, one for PC and one for ps3. The PC version is becouse one day, when I buy a new PC I will prefer this platform to play, but for now I have to play with Ps3 version.

    What is the problem: I have installed the game on my Ps3 from the Bluray, I put my ID and password correctly and the game says "No valid service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. In order to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn you must first purchase the digital download from the Playstation Store or register a product code. Please restart the client for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn"

    So, disinstalled the game. Using the xxxxxx-xxx-xxxxxx-xxx code on the SquareEnix site I redeemed the xxxx-xxxx-xxxx code for activate the game on Ps3 from the PSN. I done this, and the PSN give to me a digital copy of the game (???). I have downloaded and installed this, but when i launch the game (from the launcher on HDD or from the bluray, is the same) after ID and password the game says again "No valid service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. In order to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn you must first purchase the digital download from the Playstation Store or register a product code.     I cannot play with the pc version, my pc is too old, I really need to use Ps3 but I don't know why my Ps3 versions doesn't work.
    What can I do to play on ps3?

    I ask SE for support 18 september but I haven't recived any response yet.
    Please, help me =(

    A lot of people seem to have the same problem but no word from SE.
    My husband bought the game for ps3 (played beta with no problems on ps3)
    SE account and game code are linked (checked moogle station, but says inactive)
    But when trying to log in it says the game is not registered.

    Exatly Koshiko, is that.

    So? What have I to do? °° I do not comprehend. I bought the game, I follow the instructions to play, the game doesnt work, SquareEnix do not says anything? Are you kidding to me?

    I can't do anything ?

    Enclosed in the PS3 version of the game are 2 codes... one is a PSN redeem code and the other one looks like a code for being put into the website. You have to use the PSN redeem code on the PS3 while you are logged into the account that you want the game to be connected with and should then trigger the download. Once its installed and you login with your SE account info it should ask you to choose the SE service account you want to attach the game to... make sure its the one listing your characters and/or beta information then accept and it should be done. DO NOT create a new account. I dont know if using the second code on the website will invalidate the PSN code but that's the way I registered my game and I ONLY have the PS3 version.

    Note: I checked my copy... the PSN code is on the back of the small folded pamphlet enclosed inside the game case. It is not the small separate card that has something about Square Enix Members on it. Hope this helps.

    @poisondealer: im sorry but we dont have a clue either

    @stormpoet: Well, that is the problem, you cant log in to your account, you only get a message that you did not registered the game but there is no clue or an option where you can register your game
    The beta went fine, the early access went fine but now he just cant play
    At the moogle station it references beta and early access but you cant link your game there nor on the ps3 ..... and no support from SE

    No this is doesn't happen =/ Koshiko get the point =/ I cannot do anything

    PS: In any case, in my ps3 version there are only one code written in a pamphlet of "square enix member". Only one. I have read every words inside and outside my copy of the game but that's it.

    Go into your ps3 Internet browser and enable cookies by pressing triangle, selecting 'tools' from the side menu, and enabling cookies.

    You got a physical ps3 copy of the game. Inside should have been a 12 digit code xxxx-xxxx-xxxx to authorize your psn to play. Did you purchase the game new? If so the code will be included in the packaging.

    I'm confused because in your original post you mention redeeming this code through the psn store but in a follow up comment say the code is not included.

    You can check if your Psn is authorized by going to 'playstation network' >account management > transaction history > service accounts. Select service accounts and you should see ffxiv listed there. Select it and it should have the various game authorizations and when they expire. If it is not listed there then your code was not redeemed properly.

    You do not need to re-download the game.
