**In game Mail**

Please....for the love of the Twelve and all that is good in this world.......add mail!!

All the new features are so much appreciated , they really are D
But mail is such a basic concept and should have been in game from day1.

If the paranoid ppl are crying rmt!!..then at the very very least incorporate an in game mail to ones own characters on same account only for now...until better monitoring can be implemented perhaps.

having 3 characters all saving mats and extra crafted gear etc...its very inconvenient to drag my friend into the game for the sole purpose of trading my own mats to then trade again to my own characters. lol Come on ...now thats just bizarre no matter how you look at it.

I am all for the changes thus far and hats off to the new team...upcoming dungeons will be very cool, BUT please ,the core of the game is still lacking a few basics , like mail. please add it in. pretty please with a moogle on top!

You're right. Should have been there day 1, along with many other things. In fact day one should have been end of 2012...

But yes, mail is very important. They said they are working on it and going to implement it, but this is one thing I feel like we should be able to say.. SOON PLS!

Agreed, mostly for the fact that I have not played in a very long time, considering I have been extremely busy with my studies. I've also been waiting for bigger changes before playing again. Therefore, when I do start playing again, I may very well start over, considering my levels are not that high, thus making it an easy choice. Also I will probably want to change my name.

My point being, it would be nice if I could at least keep some of the materials and items I gathered so the little I played won't be for nothing. Mail or delivery service would be convenient.

I agree, a mailbox is dreadfully basic stuff in an MMo, and to not have a function like this is kind of shocking. They really need to hire up some Moogles to get this system in, as trading everything through a 4 slot window that is very very slow is driving me mental.

A mail/delivery system like in FFXI was great and easy to use

It would be much easier just to add a delivery area to retainers to send and receive items and gil from other players. No need to add an entirely new system when the base is already ready in another system.

More than likely this functionality is going to be added into retainers, and whenever player housing is enabled (the zones are already there), players will have the ability to transact within their XIV houses.
