Rerolling on Japanese server to avoid DF grief - does it happen there too?

I've been on Atomos (JP) since launch and it has been very pleasant! I'm not saying my experience is proprietary to all JP servers, that said my frequent DF cues have been somewhat short (5-20 min) and have been paired with polite, competent, and effective players. The market seems stable, except for the pets...they gouge a bit I'd say go for it!

One thing I must say about the Japanese: They are polite, and they bow alot. I have bow emote on hot key

I have done all the lower level dungeons so far, up to Ifrit (Story), and so far have not met any douchebags or mean people. Maybe that might change in endgame, but so far I can say I've not met any yet. I had a japanese member in my party yesterday, and he /bow when we all came in, /bow when we defeated a boss and another /bow when we finished the dungeon.

jp servers definitely don't have jp language clients, and on durandal atleast half the people i meet speak english, there is some goldspammers still but not an annoying level.
my biggest problem is being european i get a hellish ping and i have to be extra careful with cones and circles, i'd say jp servers are a good option if you're a fairly casual player who doesn't care about doing turn5 withinin a week

Come to Durandal (JP/Legacy) it's fun there and if you want a quiet run you can tick the J box, a noisy run the E box or a weird time the other two. I'll hook you up with an (English speaking) LS and FC so you'll have people to do dungeons with and stuff rather than relying on just 3 other DF peoples. If you do, send me a /tell if I'm on.

I've had only 1 issue with DF in all my time and that was with an annoying healer.
