In order to be a fanboy of something you have to be in love with it. I dislike a bunch more FF games than I like.

The point I was making is that someone who has experience with coding might actually be able to point out or provide a code sample of how scaling would work within the FF14 engine, by pointing out specific ways scale can work, aside from broad things like coding for more stats if more players, else you can get into situations of people leaving and entering the FATE radius in large numbers, which would rapidly wreak havoc with the coding if not worded right. It can't just be something as broad as number of players:stats of enemies, it's a matter of when does it scale? Start of the FATE? As a monster spawns, do you snapshot the current stat code and keep it per monster? And that's not even going into factoring a player in.
