Thread: Petition for Vanity Slots to be released in 2.1 Patch!

vanity slots for 2.1 sounds great, i don't think this petition will achieve anything though :[
also i'd rather take EU localized servers, hah.

Vanity slots can't come soon enough, making your character look as you want is highly important to.. well, most people, I belive; looks are quite a big issue .

It's not just a handful of people making this game, it's a bunch of groups with different responsibilities, so them adding vanity items doesnt take away from them fixing things in ARR. Also the bomb earrings have been in the game before the game was even release and the cactuar earrings are just moogle earrings with a cactuar on your ears instead of a moogle. There is no issue when adding more gear, bring on even more!!!

He's got a point tho, right now when you don't want to farm tomes or to do coil every other content is basically rewarding vanity stuff (Odin, Behemoth, primals) and with Crystal Tower giving ilvl80 stuff it's gonna be mainly for alts and for the look... I'm all for vanity content, but either you give us a way to actually use it or there's no point in adding more .-.

Well, vanity systems are common place now. They weren't as common at the launch of WoW.

Plenty of people broke the ToS and modded their games instead back then. We all appreciate when we have to break the ToS less to enjoy games.

Who cares what WoW did, if anything - I'm hoping FFXIV deviates totally from WoW. There's a reason why we're on FFXIV and not on that cancer.
