Thread: Petition for Vanity Slots to be released in 2.1 Patch!

Personally I would rather the dev's make long lasting challenging content than some vanity bs.

Yes. This should not even be a discussion, people. It is a standard feature in the modern MMO (which ones DON'T have vanity gear, anyway?), and just one of several that FF:ARR is missing. It's pretty egregious that we don't have it. Like PVP.

Sometimes I feel that SE is not just from another country, but a different planet altogether. Are they THAT out of touch with the western market?

It's not such an oversight just that the game doesn't have vanity slots. It would be understandable if that was a design decision. What makes it an oversight is that the game gives us otherwise useless gear like event costumes and then doesn't give us any reasonable way to utilize them.

I still say let them release it when it's good and ready, but I share the sentiment it's desperately needed.

don't see it making it but they need to get it out. now i have soon to be lightning set of armor and weps that have no purpose for my lv 36 char that i would love to use right now

Edit: Anyways, over 400 people will disagree with you. Challenges won't really be that long lasting but vanity slots can provide a longer lasting fun. Being able to wear different outfits to a dungeon you run over and over and over again can at least make things more bearable.

Well Yoshi already said he dont go by how many likes a comment or thread gets so good luck. Also the content would be better than all the dress up and play barbie crap.

Yeah of course but he did notice. That's really all I want. Better than sitting around, commenting and being a Negative Nancy. What's wrong with wanting to add more to a game I already love? But yeah, it's just vanity slots. You can still dress up on FFXIV without vanity slots, I just want to wear certain gears in dungeons/fates. Does that mean.. everyone's playing dress up barbie? If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. Either way, if you do stay and comment, you're only bumping the thread. So thanks for the support!
