I don't mind this as long as there is an option to disable it on other people. (hide, to avoid confusion)

I am going to sign this. I think I sent in a ticket (and made my friends send in tickets too) for this suggestion. To me, it's kind of weird that everyone looks the same. I have a set that I farmed and wear when I can because I like the look of it and it's different from what everyone else wears. Not to mention that having this in would have people (hopefully) queue for lower level dungeons to get the armour set they want.

I just hope they realize they shouldn't limit vanity at all before they release it.
Because if the focus is going to be "Don't allow any combinations someone else dislikes" rather than "Allow all combinations someone may like", we'll have almost nothing. We have people who want to wear bikinis and we have people who don't want them to wear bikinis. In the end the question ends up being "Should people get to choose what other people wear?".
And honestly, why would we even need a vanity system at all, if it would be blocked to only wearable in towns because outside of towns in parties people demand to see which class you play and they don't want your armor types to differ from standard tank/leather/cloth.

Well I suppose if nothing else it will make for a good indication of clashing personalities. Don't think I'd want to long term group up with someone that gets bothered by others' attire anymore than they'd want to group with me. If it occurs in a DF its a good indication to be professional, get through it, and go our separate ways.

Hi. Can we be pretty now?

This is going to sound extremely stupid but I'm fairly new to mmo's... What's a vanity slot?![]()
![]()
It's a slot where you can put any armor model on which will replace the look of your current armor without messing with your armor stats. Makes it possible to achieve a certain style if your current armor makes you look like a giant rainbow.
So if I have a leather cap on and it makes me look like crap, I can put on the model of a feathered hat and I will retain the stats of the leather cap, but have the look of the feathered hat.
I couldn't help but think to myself...I just hope they realize they shouldn't limit vanity at all before they release it.

....
In a way of looking at it, isn't this already happening...
We're 'forced' to wear what they want us to so we have the best stats possible at our level even if we don't like the gear.![]()

Like my former posters said: If they make it in time it's cool, but there's a lot of other things to focus on and we just need to be patient honestly
Other than that I'd love my monocle on my summoner instead of that creepy Amdapor Mask =X
Seriously Why?
