[LFG FATES] What Is This All About?

How can you become a member of a FATE group without running across a map and jumping into a just-spawned FATE? Am I missing something here? How is it possible to spawn a FATE, just like it was a quest?

I am really confused.

As I have two characters who are in the process of collecting Company Seals so that they can have their own Chocobo mount, I would LOVE to be able to spawn a FATE whenever I wanted one.

Please advise....

you can't spawn a FATE. What you're thinking of, is people that would use mules to spot particular FATEs, so that they could get down the timer for it. However, withthe stupid autokick BS after 30minutes of nothing, they can't really do that anymore.

All they're doing, is running around from FATE to FATE is all, no one has the power to force when a FATE spawns, other the game's staff.

The whole point of FATE (or any other groups / parties) is that all members share the the XP gained by kills of any of the group member.
