Skipping Cut Scenes in Dungeons

I'd like to put this debate to rest right now. Can we get a DEV response on how the game was intended to be played? I'd like to hear from the DEVs that we are supposed to skip cut scenes when playing through the game for the first time. So many people are running CM for tomes that they expect all the newbies to just skip the cutscenes and somehow they have warped themselves into believing that the inconsiderate person is the one not skipping the cut scenes. If you join the duty finder you should be willing to wait for people, this game doesn't need to be taken as seriously as some of the people are taking it.

How many of these people skip cut-scenes on single player video games and watch all the videos at the end? That's right, nobody.

Seriously, if that is how it was intended to be played then I am sorely mistaking. I thought we were all here to have a good time, not lambast people for actually experiencing the game they paid for.

Whether your opinion is right or not it's besides the point. Devs put in cutscenes for a story some people enjoy. Having to skip all the cutscenes in the final dungeon ruined the experience.

having to? Who the hell said you have to? Screw those other people, don't let anyone dictate how you play the game, especially not in the DF... they cant kick you, you wont miss the xp.. think things through next time.

For anyone else that thinks they HAVE to skip cutscenes, don't. Enjoy them, the ppl in DF can wait.

Look at it from a different angle. You label most wanting speed runs, as people who complain about you watching your cut scenes. You're taking the attitude "Well it's MY first time, so I AM going to watch them." That's great and all, but not EVERYONE has time to waste an extra 20+ minutes waiting on you for all the cut scenes. Just watch them in the inn later, everyone wins.

These are the people im talking about, do not cave to them.. Watch your shit, enjoy your game. If they want speed runs they can get a group from their server and Q for DF and STFU. Don't let people dictate what you do.

I am guessing your trolling..or your one of those people that have skipped everything and you get butt hurt when others actually want to watch it.

To the OP, if you want to watch the cut scenes go for it, their going to get over it or quit..that simple. Anyone who thinks I am going to lose sleep about them having a stroke in the chat screen cause I watched a cut scene is out of their mind. I have been lucky so far though and everyone has been cool and patient when it came to the cut scenes and storyline stuff.

Besides, just because YOU find it predictable doesn't mean we all do. I personally have become accustomed to not anticipating what happens in stories and just living them in the moment. Every story, whether it's a game/tv/movie/book/poetry is far more enjoyable this way. Everyone should try it.

I thought the story was stellar. However I disagree with people saying skipping the cutscenes ruined the final dungeon. I actually enjoyed watching it in my inn room all at once.
