[PC Windows] Character will not stop moving (right).

I thought it could be that my controller which that I had hooked up but was not using may have been making me move, calibration or stick was stuck... After disabling, then physically unplugging it - nothing changed. Rebooted a few times. Unplugged and re-plugged in keyboard, checked to see if keys were stuck with no sign of keyboard trouble.

I can type fine (as you can tell) but when I log into the game, my camera around my character in the select screen keeps spinning. Then when I get logged on, my character keeps on running right as if I'm holding down my D key (move right).

I have no clue what is going on. HALP.

I've had this a few times with other games, but in any direction. Even after rebooting like you have.

What i have done is press every key on my keyboard. Typically something was shorting one of my shift/ctrl/alt keys. I know this sound odd, but it's helped me in the past with the same problem..

Foooof, I fixed it.

Pyro: Yeah I did try that and even rebooted after it still seemed like I had stuck keys. My keyboard is mechanical so I can usually tell if something is awry with a key.

I just ended up unplugging everything and rebooting a few times, not sure what triggered it but I'm just happy it is gone.

I have found (as this happens frequently for me) that if you hold the key for the direction your character is stuck moving in for a few seconds it fixes it. When it first happened I did everything you did and nothing seemed to work and on the suggestion of a friend I held down the key and it works everytime. I'm not exactly a "tech expert" but it seems to be a hiccup making the game think the key is depressed, you actually can induce this (if you want to test it) by holding down the key (or holding the analog stick on consoles) as it boots up that makes it think that is the default state.
