    Broken/Unresolved Leves

I have a Quest log filled with half dozen leve quests that I cant do anything with.
The only commonality is they are all the "Initial Trial" leve quests from each region.

Is there a way around this? Is it an issue that's been addressed?
Right now, I want to gain access to lvl 40 mining leves, and I cant do the initial combat leve as its been in my quest log for 2 weeks and no way to activate it.

Can't you just accept one of the leves for combat and do them?

The only way to get them off the screen is to complete them..as far as completing leves you have to go to the location marked on your map (an orange circle) and then when your in the circle is allows you to "initiate". If that doesn't work than maybe something is bugged out on your game..idk. Some of those quests allow you to "abandon" them also..maybe that is an option. However, I think you have to do those initial quests before it allows you to accept any other leves for the area.

Also I have found that you accept most Leves from the adventurer guild in your starting city. As an example..that is where I get all my goldsmithing quests and sometime I am to deliver items to various outposts and towns. The majority of small towns I go to do not even give me an option to accept any leve quests for anything other than battlecraft.

ya. I went to the orange circle. Theres no initiate, nor mobs with icons over thier heads. The issuing NPC simply says get on task with what I assigned you.
I have a book full of bugged quests that have somehow been assigned to limbo status.

To be allowed leves in any zone you have to first prove your worth by completing a preliminary combat leve that is lvl appropriate.
That happens to be the leve Im stuck on. They are all bugged and I'm unable to delete/abandon/initiate.

You can't talk to that NPC again and select one of the Leves from his list? That's how those work...he gives you the "probationary" quest, and then you select a leve from their list to do as your probationary leve.

I'm sure you already know this, but are you talking about the base leve quest, or the leve itself? To complete the leve quest, you have to complete the leve. The leve quest is unable to be abandoned and has no initiate button; the leve it's tied to can be initiated.

    EG:

"Leves of winport" can only be completed after completing the leve "Appetite for Abduction". Also, you can initiate the leve from ANYWHERE in the zone. For example, I can initiate that leve which is in the winport area from costa-del-sol. You don't have to be in the orange circle.

Maybe your doing this already, but if not I might as well throw it out there.

When you go to the red circle (making sure its the right one for the correct quest) it does not simply pop up on your screen to initiate. You have to open up the quests by clicking on the correct one and then at the bottom where it says "map" it will also say "initiate"..that is if your in the correct orange circle on your map. That is when the mobs will pop up for you to kill or whatever else your supposed to do in the quest.

Also take a close look at the above post because when you accept the initial leve quest for an area you receive a "quest" where the objective is to complete the first levequest..and you also receive the levequest which is the one you actually have to initiate. Then when you complete the appropriate leve quest you go back to the person who issued the quest and you get a reward for the leve and for the quest (for completing the leve and proving yourself). so..two rewards.

    @Furious:
    Seriously....I thank you.
I feel almost embarrassed to come hear and admit to something so simple.
TY everyone for helping me to diagnose this issue. Indeed the two sets of leves ARE linked.
Problem solved, hope this helps others in the future.

lol, glad to hear you got it figured out. Its more confusing than it needs to be in my opinion..I mean it seems simple once you figure it out but it is easily confused when your not used to doing them.

I also learned something new, I did not realize you could initiate from anywhere in the zone. Although, it doesn't make much sense to initiate from far away since your normally have a 20 minute timer (or somewhere in the area).
