    Concerning Guildmarks and Leves...

I've been noticing that since I leveled Thaumaturge past rank 10, the only guild mark rewards I get are for THM. I have rank 22 PUG, but none of the leves offer pug guild marks. I am looking at the rank 20 leves. This has been happening for the last 5 or so leve refreshes. Am I missing something really obvious? Or is the reward system random?

Sorry if this has been asked before.
    * I meant to ask this in the the new player questions forum. Silly me.

I don't really understand this system myself but it seems to me as soon as your PGL "could do" rank 30 leves you dont get guild marks for the rank 20 leves anymore. Atleast thats what i experienced, it could be a coincidence but doubt it. So my guess is you gotta do rank 30 leves for your PGL guild marks. Kinda sucks!

    Coincidence.
It's completely random what youll get as a reward.
If you only want marks for one class try not to rank up another very soon.
I only started ranking up other classes (besides THM and CON) only after I nearly got everything for my PUG.

Also If you try and rank up all your classes up to 20 be prepared cause the leves that actually give you money rewards will be very limmited too, so act accordingly.

Its random but you can restrict it. All classes r10+ can receive marks from camp r20, all classes r20+ can receive marks from camps r30 and all classes r30+ can receive marks from camp r40.

So you can just try and leave your PGL alone in one of these options...this way every marks that pop there will be PGL marks.

Let me share something I have noticed.
Once you complete a class quest, for example the r20 pug quest. (which i'm betting you all have)
The majority of your guild marks will be on the 30 leves.
When you complete the next pug quest, the majority of marks will be found in the 40 leves.
You'll still see pug marks on lower leves but it's less often.

I've yet to complete the rank 30 quest for my con, but all my mark leves shifted to the rank 40's some time ago.
Also i believe the ranks at which you can get marks as reward for a class, equals the ranks at which you can obtain higher rank leves. which would be 13,23, etc. (i think? )

At any rate, if you can get the rank 30's to give you marks instead its a better deal for you anyway, since higher rank tends to give a lot more marks as reward. ~

The classes you get offered GM rewards for are primarily based upon those same classes you ranked up during the previous leve timer. The more classes you are working on the more GM rewards for those same classes you will be offered during the next timer. Try ranking up just a single class during a leve timer to reduce the GM reward offers.

Ideally SE should always provide players the option of a gil reward in my opinion.

The battle leve ranks you are offered are based on your Physical level. So someone with a physical level of 50 will be able to see the battle leves for all ranks no matter how low thier highest battle class is. Ex. at physical level 20, you will start seeing the R30 battle leves, at level 30, you will see the R40 battle leves and so on. This also applies to the Gathering leves.

I dunno about the rest of it, but I'm quite certain that last paragraph is completely wrong. New leves open up based on your rank. At r13, you get the r20s; at r23, the 30s; at 33, the 40s. Your physical level has absolutely nothing to do with it. For example, I'm level 50, but can't do beyond the r10 leves for any gathering class, except maybe MIN, which I think is r13.

Thanks for the correction, I've have my Miner class above R30 for so long I completely forgot about that. I went back and found my notes, since I obviously can't rely on my memory and you are correct about the last paragraph being based on your highest rank. I don't know if Disciple of the Hand ranks count, but gathering ranks do.

The first part is based on observation and notes I took. There were times I didn't do any battle leves for 4-5 timers in a row, then I would do only 1 class, other times I tested it with 2-3 classes. The last month I've been ranking up all the battle classes and I continually see GMs offered for every class that I used in the previous timer. (There was no true scientific analysis done here )
