Hoplite chest vs AF1 chest?

Any thoughts on Hoplite Tabard vs Af1?

Focusing on the Hoplite Tabard from a paladin perspective
AF1 chest to Hoplite chest:
Defense +2
Str +2
Vit +3
Accuracy +24
Skill speed +17
-23 Parry
-11 Determination

Overall its a stat increase, but is it worth sacrificing 23 parry? The boots have the same problem of sacrificing parry from Vermillion.

I found that wearing full Hoplite/DL mixed in was enough of a stat mix to warrant losing stats like parry on one piece but picking it back up on a different. I was running Full Hoplite w/ DL belt and HQ crafted Amber accessories/Hoplite Accessories for quite some time as I farmed Phil for different pieces. Never had any issues being in full Hoplite with anything pre-Titan.

Content before titan (And arguably titan himself) is not necessarily difficult, I totally agree it's not terribly important. But as I've been doing titan attempts with duty finder I see tanks consistently using hoplite chest. I see this as a sign of a bad tank honestly, a fight like titan without darklight should have people in the group min/maxing (at least) if you intend on tanking it. But now I'm just not certain in what is better to use.

Its very simple to tank titan hm with 2 dark pieces(belt hands) hoplight gear(shoes pants)and af chest. I say this out of experience. The hardest part on titan is dodging nothing else. We even did it with a brd with af gear with gc ilv55 bow in that same run.

I agree gear helps but it's not going to determine the titan hm fight. Of course that doesn't mean to come in primal hm with whites but ilv60 gear is all you need to beat all hm primals.

I like AF myself, but people cried about the noob tank wearing AF gear, so i put it on (hoplite) to shut them up. Doesnt matter now though with my AF+1
