Same thing I do. It's still a pain and rather clunky. It also doesn't report that person which is another clunky process of steps. There should be a simpler right click blist/report option in a single step.
Oh don't get me wrong, I agree, there most assuredly should be a quicker and simpler way but it's not the arduous process some people claim it to be.
They know about the issue and are planning to fix it, that's about all we can ask for at the moment, adding it to a list of complaints about the game at this point is just being myopic.
1 month and I've had the most fun any MMO has delivered in quite some time.
I have no lag in servers.
Not a single bugged AoE.
I'm smart enough to just click "send tell" and edit the /tell with Blist add. (This will be fixed soon so stop crying like a baby)
And I've seen plenty of updates from Yoshida and our community reps.
You feel abandoned because every time something bad happens to you, you expect them to immediately shut down the servers and fix it with maint right away. Get over yourself, please delete your character and quit the game so the game has 1 less child.
1 month and no issues =)
must be EU internets :3
copy&paste with good old ctrl+c and ctrl+v
I did right click name, click send tell, changed /tell name in /blist add "name"
And about this one:

Completely agree. This will be their second attempt at fixing the aoe problem in particular and I'm hoping it finally gets fixed. However, if it's a similar "fix" that they used when the issue came to light during beta, then it might be time to take a vacation from playing until they sort it out.
Keeping my fingers crossed: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...hlight=latency
