Also the 401 and 601 error when paying the sub that we 1.0 players got and many just said forget it after 3 days of not being able to pay.
Many 2.0 players will hit this wall also.
Many 2.0 players have never had this kind of technical problems that FFXIV has and will leave.
Ant his is not "Projected" Expectations i can guarantee this is a fact.

I came very close to just quitting this game today with the payment problems I've been having. But somebody posted a simple work around solution that worked for me and didn't involve going to Walmart for a game card.

I am not going to lie..this sort of thought was crossing my mind as I ran through various low 40 areas and I would see literally no one. I tend to only do fates as I happen across them in the process of completing the story..I have ran across probably 4 or 5 of them that I could not complete because there was literally no one else in the area to help complete it. Then one my self and one other person did..and we were barely able to complete it in the time frame..not cause it was killing us but simply cause it took so long to kill one with dps and one tank.

I'd say a lot of people aren't playing at the moment because of GTA V. Honestly, my boyfriend is playing that until I get home from work, then he switches and plays this game with me. However, next week I'm going to purchase it because it looks badass, and soon my "free" time will be split between the two.

Wow...I'm actually a summoner, level 37. My thing is off there on the side.

And last night, we were playing Coerthas (sp) and there were HORDES of people running to fates, it was insane. I took some screens of the amount of chocobos in town, and it was a sea of chokes. It was cool...

Coerthas is definetly pretty busy..but then again it is one of the main higher level areas with some good fates so people do tend to flock to those.

and yeah I completely agree on the GTA5 comment..I myself and now trying to juggle playing both of these games. I am already really enjoying the single player portion of the game...but something tells me the online portion is going to be sick when it launches.

Maybe they were just afk in their inn rooms talking to their Retainers so they don't log out

They all quit because of crappy se service. End game dungeon have very long queue time even with a complete party. Stuck to grinding and tokens have cap (in a game where we are paying we should never have to wait). Not to mention se is too greedy to let a few cash out of their hands to upgrade server capacity. Most servers are still close and cant entertain newnplayers
