Okay, so I just found out a FC pal of mine actually managed to take a picture of Odin at the time!

I think that this is the case. I also think that is why the second video you linked had a unique FATE COMPLETE animation, which was to show you that you were the one that landed the killing blow.

Is that what that was? I did not think anything special of it at all because... well... special FATE, right? We killed ODIN, so there was a bit of a special effect. Interesting to know.
