wtf with all this hate to summoners?

For Boss fights SMN actually give out the highest DPS,
The problem is most SMN are bad at using their skills so it just give a bad name to the rest

I started out leveling up THM to open BLM. Then when I leveled the sub Arcanist to open BLM it felt a little underwhelmed. Then the further I got and studied the mechanics and rotation I saw the pluses of the job. I opened up SMN but in group play I still use silver carby the most for DPS and sometimes Ifrit. SMN is a beast soloing I've monster logged mobs up to 9 levels hirer then me with Titan and my Chocobo out for the fight.

Well I stopped with the SMN for a min and went back to BLM to get a couple of levels. This is when I realized my DPS was better with the SMN and pet versus the BLM. Burst on adds on boss fight nope not gonna happen quick but if you focus your pet on add also you get them down with other DPS in no time.


My SMN has helped a lot in pinch from healing to swiftcast rezzing to Titan tanking because the tank went down. People that have seen good SMN's know that these things happen but not the community as a whole.
