haha anyone who doesn't like playing with a SMN is either dumb or played with too many bad ones.

SMN if played correctly can pump out DMG only slightly under a BRD, I'm not saying that cuz I'm biased since SMN is what I play but its true. And I've shown a fair amount of people as to what a SMN Can actually do...but hey if people are already majorly arrogant and ignorant, I wont even waste my time trying I'll just lol at their idiocy!

It is misplaced, The Duty Finder brings out the worst in people, the playerbase of the game are exploiters, who would abuse staying logged in all day back when there was no AFK kicker just so the could play the game even if it meant taking away from someone else. Right now due to lack of tanks, A good majority are feeling entitled and often times if a tank says something it goes. Your far better off trying to recruit on server via shouts then DF. It is faster, safer and you get better people.

When I play SMN I out-damage a Bard, you just need to know when to pop them skills and when to hold them. I finished Titan HM easy and out-damaged my party. When i'm doing Dungeons i always feel as if i'm carrying people.

Yeah when I did Titan HM I outdamaged my entire party as well. SMN is probably the best DPS for Titan HM. How ironic that makes this situation.

Just curious, do either you have proof? As far as i was aware parsers do not track SMN properly.

As you can see by my updated post, FFXIVapp not only tracks my DoTs but it also knows which pet is mine.

a good smn usely has very high dps, but also not many smn can't control there pets.
Overall dmg, smn do beat many dps.

Bad SMNs aside it's not a weak DPS or pull hate easily - Unless for some odd reason you're using Titan or Ifrit or Gauda in these fights. While true a TON of people don't bother controlling their pets, most have an innate -dt trait that negates most damage. While I wish SMN was designed differently, it's not "bad" or any legitimate reason to leave just because a SMN is in the group.

I agree. Lot of hate for poor o'le smn. But also for Dps war. I've proved many wrong by scoring 750+ crits on Titan. W/o Bravura and 820~ with. Just goes to show ppl can't think outside the damn box. Those are the ones holding the game back from evolving into something greater.
