    Sikare's Feedback (Full of hope!)

    Because of text character limit I took the liberty of using text share, so all the information I'd like to discuss is in one easy to read place:

    This is Sikare's suggestion and wishes for a brighter tomorrow in the realms of Final Fantasy XIV:

    COMBAT:
    Spells:
    - Normalize all attacks/spells to scale equally with Weapon damage (scratch physical and magical). Reason being, eventually some melee magic classes may enter the realms, as Paladin already has, and should be able to gain full benefit of their cross-class abilities (while still having weaker versions due to traits and lack of SUPPORTING stats, such as mind, strength etc.) This would also make Cure a more meaningful Paladin spell.

    Attacks (Clean Up):
    - Globalize lock outs. All spells should "disable" your bar for .5 second after use of a spell (which effectively already happens with animations but a visual que would be helpful, at to make it globalized would clear up any clunky feelings that come from varying animation times. Once the .5 second timer is up, allow animation clipping so that we can go on to our next ability without animation latency issues.

    - Coupling with the above, allow "instant" abilities off of the Global cooldown to que, this way we don't have to mash all of our instant abilities just to get them to go off as soon as they can get past animation locks.

    - Animation Stun needs to be coupled with an invulnerability that lasts slightly longer than the animation stun (Dragoon jumps, Limit Breaks) these abilities can be fatal when you become self stunned for longer than a danger-zone will sometimes even last under you, effectively making abilities a high risk that shouldn't be a factor of skillful playing. (It's RNG)

    - Add an options to: Hide "Other's Debuffs" And make personal Debuffs show first on the debuff bar.

    - Add an options to: Turn off other player's flying combat text and turn off ability name tags on personal flying combat text.

    Legacy Movement (Camera bug):

    - Fix the bug where on PC platforms using the Legacy movement style and having the camera hit terrain or walls, the camera will get "stuck" zoomed in, and you have to zoom back out manually.

    The World:

    - Notorious monsters were a HUGE part of FFXI and was almost a huge part of the charm. I entirely respect the idea of turning them into Fates due to competition, however they are SEVERELY lacking, now. My suggestions:
    >> Slightly increase the HP of some of the world NMs/increase difficulty.
    >> Add a unique drop that is tradable to each NM in the world.
    >> Upon death give its unique drop (100% of the time) to only 1 (Randomly) person who achieved a Gold rank.
    >> This will: Preserve the essence of NMs, increase the thrill of killing them, add more to the market, and cause fewer to be obtained (unlike the ones that give an item to anyone who achieves gold.)
    >> Brings back the fun of "camping" certain loved/favored NMs and creates a whole new era of famous NMs, and not just a new wave of "FATE bosses" which is pretty boring.

    Chocobo's and Mounting:

    - Allow Mounting and talking to NPCs.

    - Allow duty finder quing while you have a Chocobo out.

    - Allow mounting while a chocobo is out (have it go into "waiting mode").

    - Speed up leveling Chocobo companion.

    - Slightly reduce the cost of Greens.

    Gil sellers

    - Send red flags to names blocked by a high volume of players at once for investigation.

    - Allow us to block via chat box.


    Give me Wind-up Goblin minion ASAP.

    Ending statement: Some pretty big aspects should be looked at, some combat related, other are to preserve the essence and "epicness" of Final Fantasy games, but all should be taken quite seriously. I'm posting here because this is not a "website feedback", this is all strictly about the game and making it better and I hope this will be taken serious by mods and not removed/moved/etc. This is the best place to post because it's a high traffic area and I'm generally discussing my feelings about the game, just in the format of suggestion.

    Oh sorry, it's kind of small and insignificant, but it's my character's name. I keep my character name similar in the various MMOs that I play because I try to often get involved in trying to help better the game overall via thought out feedback, and I find it's more effective if I use my character name. It helps with recognition and things along those lines.

    Thanks a lot, I wasn't aware of this, since I've mostly only made short comments on other threads, thanks for the heads up! I updated the original post to have all the information, so using the link isn't necessary anymore.
