    There is a way to edit which abilities you want mapped to which buttons on the hotbar, but you never specified if you already knew this or not. If not, all you do is hold down L2 (or R2, if what you want to change is on that side) and press the "select" button. Continuing to hold down L2, press which button you want to edit on the hotbar and then press it again. It should ask you if you want to delete it from the hotbar (At least, I hope these are the correct steps--I'm just typing these steps from my own memory). You can then add any abilities to the hot bar by going into the "Actions & Traits" menu. Once you find the one you want to add to the hotbar, just highlight it and press "Square," upon which it will ask you which hotbar button you want to add it to.

    However... I don't see why the abilities would be moved or replaced... that's never happened to me, before. And yes, it should probably be addressed.

    Yes, I'm well aware of that. What I'm saying is that the slot where I had Leg Sweep changed to Materia Melding immediately after I learned Spineshatter Dive, for no apparent reason.
