Is HM Titan even doable via DF?

One of our FC members just beat Titan HM through a Duty Finder PUG last night. So, it's doable. The question is can you do it consistently? Based on the number of times I've tried, and other FC members have tried no...not reliably with a DF pick up group.

While I know you are joking. Keep in mind not everyone on a legacy server is capped jobs and gear. Hell, based on what I've seen in DF groups I'd say we have quite few people that are new account holders. We have just as many problems as other servers where you see people totally under geared for certain content.

I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I'm actually looking forward to a gear score system that SE has hinted at implemented as a stop gate preventing people well under prepared (gear wise) from being carried through fights. Sometimes you need everyone on their A-game bringing their A-game gear. I've come across way too many groups where people are wearing gear 20+ levels below the content they are running.

I know it's a bit much to ask for, I put in a lot of effort to try to be ready for certain content to expect the same from others I am suppose to consider my comrades in battle.

Agreed I cant wait for GS either. Gear can't help some people though and the lack of skill is a problem I am seeing far to often. I am obviously joking about JP servers and Legacy servers. The only difference is there is probably a higher proportion of geared players to non geared players on legacy servers. It is also a little easier for new players on the legacy players to gear up as well. So you proabably have a litrtle better chance of getting a DF group that can complete Titan.

Is there anyone that is not on a legacy or JP server that has done this? Everyone so far is.

Thank you for saying the words *pick up group* in your message, i've been wondering for days reading the forums when people say PUG wtf they mean (at first i thought they meant pugilist), reading it and using context analysis i knew it had something to do with grouping but i just did not know what the acronym meant and didn't want to ask because so many people were using it in sentences i felt i'd be noobish to ask.

Well, I got Titan down. I managed find a pre-made group in need of a tank. I still don't think the DF is a good way to get Titan down.
