Proposed use for primal weapons.

I'd love to see more use for the primal weapons, something along the lines of combining the three into one weapon. Seeing as its harder to get all three than it is to complete the relic quest is to complete I'm unsure why these end up just collecting dust at the end of the day. Also you could eventually + the wep once more primal battles are introduced. Would like others opinions on this.

Progression always obsoletes older gear. You always replaced previous raid gear with newer gear in WoW, and that seems to be the model here. FFXIV follows FFXI in making Relic weapons a little more significant, so that Relic + is the best weapon gear, but this doesn't hold true for armor at the slightest: You start replacing AF gear with Darklight almost right out of the 50 gate.

Old gear can be used to reskin new gear in WoW though.

Ok armor completely off topic so a ignored and invalid point. The fact the other games or WoW did something once again ignored and invalid. These aren't raid gear or dungeon drops these are primal weapons primal have always been a huge part of the FF series and I'd like to see a use for their weapons past farming them completion of relic then they collect dust where their should be a use for them added in 2.1 or farther in the future. Also why do people keep bringing up what wow did if anyone here cared about wow they would be playing it instead.
