    extra harvest proc

    does stone whisperer not work on shards? or is that a bug?

    edit: silly question....while it can proc, you may not get the effect if you don't have enough mind...i was confused about that.

    honestly though, it shouldn't proc if you don't have the necessary stats for it. seems like a waste.

    The whisperer traits do not apply to every node, just the ones that specifically mention it. When you target a node, above the "HP bar" (for lack of a better term) it will say whether or not a whisperer trait threshold is available to be met.

    At 50 with appropriate gear, there are no whisperer thresholds that you don't meet.

    I've noticed that naturally, you seem to get the extra mine bonus (the one from a stat like vit/str/mnd) on the last level of that mining range. So, for example, if you're mining Electrum Ore, when you hit 45 you naturally have the stat level without gear to get the bonus.
