Population

I've been following these forums for quite awhile now, reading updates and seeing what the people think about the game and for once it seems like its turning around. I can easily spot the trolls and haters from the real players and the real players seem to be happy with the game and the direction its going.

So I ask, hows the population in this game? Is it increasing at all? Decreasing? I've been waiting for the population to increase to play again because that's what makes an MMORPG fun--the community.

Any opinions would be nice, thanks

Populations is more or less the same sure there a few new ppl logging in on few servers but we wont really see a big populations in the other 2 city to PS3 release when this goes P2P. I for one enjoying the game but i only log in to do leves am waiting for the battle system update i think that when most players would return that and ps3 release.

Theres a few problems they still need to iron out and lots of people are waiting for content. After patch a huge number of people are online then it flutters down till the next major patch. After 1.18 it should skyrocket back up for quite a while hopefully.

yeah its real hard to judge population right now

while the in game numbers fluctuate you got a TON of people checking in often to account for too

honestly, til we go p2p pop dont mean much

I'm on Saronia, which is one of the lower population servers.

Ul'dah is the busiest area (same on most servers it seems) and the population has been pretty steady over the months I've been playing. There has been noticeable player turnover, but overall it seems pretty stable here.

Belonging to a good Linkshell is still very important regardless of the server population, though.

In my personal experience, the population of Wutai seems to be steadily decreasing.

I'm not entirely surprised, though, with what meager content we've been given as of late.

it feels like the population on gysahl went up quite a bit since the last 2 patches.

There are a lot of people on every server, plenty of people to play with.
