Making ingredients hard to obtain for craters by dungeon raids would increase rarity of craftables and SE could make it so crafters create the best items. Of course u could just pay a person or guild to hunt for u and then try to craft something if u didn't reach the lvl req.
Overall making ingredients harder to obtain would allow for better items to be crafted and would create a relationship between the dungeon raider and the DoH/DoL.
Does that answer your question or are you still dreaming about your WoW?
Have you ever thought how much money you could make just "fee'ing" people per try?
think about it.
if you charge 5-10k a materia meld. you will make a ton of money.
1/2 slot = 100%
3rd slot = 30%
4th slot = 15%
5th slot = 8%
Also you can use "guildLeves" starting from level 20.
Example. "give me x3 iron ingots" (repeatable leve)
when you go turn these x3 iron ingots he will ask you 2 more times.
meaning you get x3 the exp of the original task u signed up for.
Now big tip: If you bring a HQ item you will gain 200% exp bonus.
soo.. if the exp gives 28,000 EXP + 400GIL
you will obtain 52,000 EXP + 800 gill.
Now remember he asks 2 more times. so... 52,000x3 = 156,000 EXP + 2,400GILL.
in what.. a few seconds?
id only reccomend HQ if you have the GOLD for it.
If you want gold, as soon as you hit 50 use up all your points. on Potashes and sell them. They will sell awfully fast. knowing they sell for 60-90k. (1k = 1,000)
That's all i can say to this mates thread.
Could be like in sword art online. The blacksmith can make a sword thats not listed in the games specs by using a rare item. This rare item can only be gotten by killing a hard to kill monster, but only while having someone in your party that is sufficiantly high enough lvl in a craft that is able to use said material at the time ofthe creatures death.
In this regard it promotes co-operation between DoW/M and DoH/L, wherein the items that crafters make are able to be of greater quality and potency than boss drops, but it requires both ppl to kill the creature, and a DoH that is currently high enough lvl to craft with said rare item at that currt point in time for it to drop.
To be fair the DoH would only be able to melee the mob as their way of helping out, but if it dropped off rare world bosses (ala odin/behemoth but not as a fate) it would mean that crafters could compete with the raid drop gear by having to put in effort and co-op with battle classes to be able to make those weapons/armors for the battle classes. Could also use the items to make crafting things as well not just battle craft items.
(stupid 1k word limit)
I just stated that we need interdepency between the craters and the raiders. The man I quoted said that why would anyone want that this is not WoW. I simply explained and replayed why it would be good and that SE should make the best craft only, and the items needed to gather through dungeons and such.
Because the way it is right now, crafters and basically useless for anyone who power lvls to 50 and then gets all the relic equips.
Didn't Yoshi say that Crafters will be able to make PvP gear? Which will give them economic presence since PvP uses different gear than PvE? If that's the case your Bahamut Coil farm won't get you what you need in PvP, so DoW/DoM dungeoning is less relevant to PvP gearing than a crafter. So DoW/DoM need to go to crafters to get their PvP gear.
NOt quite.. I am sure there will be an NPC that sells pvp gear for some type of token or material just like how it is for pve right now.Didn't Yoshi say that Crafters will be able to make PvP gear? Crafting will always be a third rate gear path and general waste of time for most efficiency-oriented Concerns because if crafters could genuinely make endgame-grade stuff more than about once every couple of weeks with raid gated mats, craft guilds would eventually organize that could seriously control markets on entire servers. If they strictly control the means of generation, they control the means of proliferation.
Not players that cleverly cooked up a trade union and went on to price fix everything vital to play the game.
Think its absurd? EVE called; that IS the game over there. Blowing stuff up in space is just graphics in the background; irrelevant.
It's quite the opposite in EvE. Corps don't run the markets. They can fluctuate prices for a limited time only. But I am in a solo corp and I make hundreds million or a few billion of isk each week from industryCrafting will always be a third rate gear path and general waste of time for most efficiency-oriented Concerns because if crafters could genuinely make endgame-grade stuff more than about once every couple of weeks with raid gated mats, craft guilds would eventually organize that could seriously control markets on entire servers.
