How do you manage to sustain all those repairs, teleporting costs, and retarded amount of gold needed to be collected for the relic weapon crafting.

Story line gives you enough money to buy the weapon and the materia.
Unless you're lvl another class, battle or crafting, you don't need to teleport that much in end game. And if you are, it gives you monney, so not a problem. Repair cost are close to nothing now, it's nowhere near what it was at launch. Right now if you're really struggling, sell a couple of tome mat from time to time and you'll get way enough gold.
First, make all three city-state aetherites your favorites. You can teleport back to civilization for around 100-150gil. Second, get in the habit of using your mounts or porters. If you are in Horizon and need to run to Quarrymill, teleport to Grid (remember to favorite it?) then choco the rest of the way.
Good way to make money is level up BTN or MIN and sell mats. Try to gather HQ mats for the DoH/DoL quests, they sell for a lot. If you invest more time, HQ the final items for the said quest. On Hyperion, HQ class quest items sell anywhere from 20-40k. At 50 DoH, you should be able to HQ all the quest items up to the 40s depending on gear.
I would put full list here where you need high end crafting mats that sell for 1k+ 500gil each but thats my secret use a excel file farm mobs drops you will find you can make tons of gil if you were a legacy player that had tons of gil that helps a bit also :P
And why is this thread in tank area lol
if this was final fantasy 11 i would say farm silk and beehive chip lol

You need either gathering or crafting job.
Gathering
-Cheap but time consuming to level
-Low but reliable source of income
Crafting
-Can be really expensive to level and will probably not pay off until you hit lvl50
-You need to pay a lot more attention to market and pay attention to which items are selling at high value and be on a lookout for cheap resources.
Alternatively, if you really don't want to level up another job, you can play the market but it's the most unreliable method and you need a lot of starting money to get rolling. As a practical example, you can often find large stacks of items for really cheap price because most people don't want to spend 50k on a whole stack when they just need one item. So, you can buy that big stack and sell it in larger stack sizes for a profit.
