Just when I thought DF couldn't get any worse...

Not only is it common to put up with a plethora of things when using DF for dungeons, I just experienced something I hadn't seen before to add to the list:

The TANK says: "Ok guys I'll only keep you for a minute or two. I just want the scimitar." He runs ahead, through the dungeon, loots a chest (mind you the rest of us are all still at the beginning b/c he made no attempt to actually pull anything, just death run to this chest he wanted) then says, "Oh darn it wasn't there" and leaves the group.

I stood there dumbfounded, until some tonberrys came rushing back and killed me. Revived. Killed me again, at the entrance! They never de-aggroed. SO not only did the tank abandon for a chest, he didn't get what he wanted, left us without a tank forcing us to que for another, we all had to just lay there dead b/c otherwise we get up and get eaten by tonberrys.

Anyway, anyone else seeing this type of thing?! I couldn't believe it. Well, yes I could, I just didn't want to.

Thats a new one, and that scimitar he wanted for his Relic quest only costs about 6k. Rather cruel for such small change!

I just wanted to add that I think this is the worst community I've seen in an mmo (at least one I've played) in ... ever! I hear WoW can be trollish, but I wouldn't know first hand. Didn't seem this bad the brief stint I had there.

Some of you will say: go with fc, go with friends. That aside, assuming I can't, don't want to, or no one is available, DF does happen. I shouldn't be apprehensive about using a tool given to us in game b/c it's filled with....tools. I'm not a tool! (At least I don't think I am!) SO I know there are good people out there that use DF.But I guess we're a minority? I dunno.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this little story. I sincerely hope this isn't a new trend. Tank ques, gets a group in DF, death runs to his favorite chest, does (or ilike in this case does NOT) get what they want, and then abandon the group. If this becomes the new "thing" I'm gonna...um.. well probably do nothing, because what can one do about it? But man, it would suck

Sorry to hear that happened to you OP, I'm assuming this is why people were nervous during my first queue in Wanderer's, cause they were expecting me to leave after the second chest. :s

I've seen some pretty corrupt healers too.....

Fortunately, DPS don't really have that luxury or things would be even worse.
