Although distasteful its probably not meant as a racial slur (though I can understand why it can be upsetting) it was a catch all phrase for gold farmers back on WoW due to media covered gold farming sweatshops that were most often times in China.

This sucks for people that bought the game this week with the resumption of digital sales. They pop right in the spam fest after the tutorial and it is their first introduction to the open world of ARR. First impressions are quite influential. I suggest anyone getting a friend into the game, have that friend turn shout off asap and move to a quieter zone while you explain how to blist and have them blist those they were spammed by and set up a new chat window with no shouts. It might just save their sanity.I would agree with the OP that something needs to be done with this asap. I finally talked one of my longtime MMO friends into playing FF14 because it's so fun. They logged into Uld and was instantly bombarded with Gil spam. Being new to the game they did not know how the Blacklist function worked and after a few minutes they quit.

I have also noticed the weird teleport occurring on low level bots who are moving faster than I am on DoL while using stealth.

The mention about Chinese is not intended as a racial attack. It's a fact that most Gold Farmers in most MMOs are based out of China. Just look at what happened with TERA. En Masse banned Chinese-based IPs due to tons of RMT activity and bam, RMT activity died down drastically. I think if SE did the same, you would see a fair amount of the RMT stuff disappear.

No, I don't think they are dumping "who knows how many 1 gil items to vendor" because that would be beyond stupid. Shards are level 1 items, they can farm them more easily than anything else. But let's pretend that that's what they do: how would it affect the server economy? Even if half the population on any given server was gil sellers and they would all bot 24/7 for shards, to vendor, it still wouldn't even make a dent in the economy. You don't think them dumping who knows how many 1 gil items to vendors injects gil into a server? I doubt they are vendoring the shards now seeing as they are offering them for cash now too. Not to mention grabbing nothing but allagan peices from the quests along the way to getting a fresh bot going.
And shards are always going to be needed, so they are never gonna go for 1 gil a piece on market board. The miniscule amount of allagan pieces they get from the starting quests isn't going to cause inflation.

Probably because it's well known that they generally are Chinese...

Well i will say that this games report system is the worst i have ever seen. I reported a teleporting bot while i was mining up Lightning crystal shards in Central Thanalan(sp) from the lvl 5 mining points. I saw this one guy teleporting from point to point. And that was my first time seeing an actual bot. It made me very upset that someone was cheating to get the shards i actually had to work hours to farm. Since crafting 30+ calls for rediculous amounts of crystals. So i reported the bot. 4 hours later ( I'm still farming shards...) and he's STILL there! Doing the same thing. In Final Fantasy 11 GM's would show up after a report within an hour or two. Now, they don't show up @ all. I'd rate their system an F currently. Just horrible.
ok you cant sell shards crystals or cluster's iv tried to npc them for quick gill gain like in v1 but cant and also i dnt think you can even trade them but i have tride the trading part yet

You can sell them on the market or trade them... you just can't sell them to an npc.
These teleporters should be dealt with asap, how is it even possible to "hack" in an mmo? Doesn't stuff happen server-side?
It's really demotivating trying to level your gathering classes the honest way when you're surrounded by these teleporting bastards.
I hope SE has made a list of those reported and ban them all when they decide to do something.
