Unable to claim due to party leader being in another zone bug?

I've noticed after the recent patches a 'bug' that seems to occur every time you zone. After you zone, the first mob you claim, regardless of how many people are in your party or where they are I tend to get this message:

"Unable to claim the <name of mob>. Party leader is in a different area."

I don't know if this could be because usually when I enter a new zone I will attack something that usually dies in one hit. I'm also not 100% sure about the effect of this possible bug on guild leves. I just know, that recently I have been traveling throughout the zones on foot, and after entering a new area or zoning within an area (Like between the city of Ul'dah and Camp Horizon or from Ul'dah into the Thanalan field) I will get this message on the first mob I claim and defeat.

More recently, I haven't even been in a party when this is occurring. I also cannot say if it's just text or if it has a direct effect on sp or not since the mobs I'm fighting would give me one anyway. I think loot can still drop, but it's hard to say.

Edit: I just zoned from the Ul'dah area to the drybone area and it did this again, however it wasn't just the first battle but also the second as well. Then into the third battle it didn't say unable to claim.

Class/Skill Rank: Mostly on rank 50 Thaumaturge, but also on other classes before.
    Physical Level: 50
Area and Coordinates: Within all zones this has happened to me. Thanalan, The Black Shroud, Coerthas, and La Noscea (I have not been to Mor Dhona recently.)
    Party or Solo: Both
Monster Name: Mostly star marmots, coblyns, does, etc. Anything just outside a zoning area because that is when and where it occurs.
    In-Game Time: Any
    Steps:
    1. Zone from any area into another one
    2. Engage a mob
    3. Defeat mob
    4. Message saying it cannot be claimed due to the party leader being in a different area even if you are the only person in the party or if the leader is there with you.

One other thing is that I have noticed in the past you would get this message even if you were engaging in a battle with the party leader and another member was in a different zone. Not sure if this is still the case.

    I hope this helps.
