So, after doing the story line and every dungeon up to lvl 43 I decided to hang up my staff and give crafting a go.
I've played MMOs for a very long time and I have to honestly say, with no exaggeration, I have never seen so many poor tanks and DPS players in all my life. Now, I am sure if I was something other than a healer, I would have found bad healers too (to be fair).
But after all these black mages throwing down AOE blizzards in a dungeon, Tanks who doesn't know about the Aggro Mechanic (I had to nicely explain it several times) and people not realizing that a red pattern or some other dis colored pattern on the floor with a dungeon boss means to move away, I decided to give Weaving a whirl.
And I am glad I did. When my nerves are frayed, it's pretty relaxing crafting clothing, chatting with guildies on a chat program, and selling your wares.
It's much better than dungeon runs with people who literally have no idea how to play their classes (which is a mystery to me how they can get up to the forties and realize there is something other than aoe blizzards, and a myriad of other issues).
So my advice to you if you're about to pull your hair out...try out crafting if you haven't done so yet.
PS: My Guild and I do dungeon runs whenever a pug has too many bad players. Stone Vigil was only possible with a guild run...we ran through it once. In Pugs, I tried seven times.
