I see all the complaints about DPS on Bards

Yet no one is complaining about the highest DPS class in the game with also an amazing amount of mobility: Summoner.

They do 30-50% more DPS than a bard or any other class for that matter. They can battle rez. They can do everything and people all just complain about Bard DPS.

And for all the people claiming parsers are not accurate, they are pretty accurate right now. And if you are not convinced, grab a geared summoner and watch the damage they do. It is absurd.

Parsers show me at 160 dps on bosses with my pet around 35.

When I use a dummy my dots are doing around 300 / tick, flare doing 70 (so 370/tick) plus Fester,ruin, drain.

Though I do agree, i out damage many bards, and I toss a heal in there every now and again for kicks. But we have a draw back - easily get agro, if our pets die we get all their agro, f'n pet goes AWOL if you get hit from a global spell causing it to run and defend you (train = you die).

It's just dumb that ppl still complain about Bard DPS when honestly they don't do as much as other classes. Stupid band wagon effect in games lol

Currently my feeling on the parsers I know about is they are only accurate for you personally. I have multiple people in a party run parses and generally speaking the person running the parse sees themselves with higher damage than the other players see, which tells me that the parser isn't getting all of the relevant data from other players.

Also, summoner has one downfall. While their sustain (ability to perform over time) is amazing, their ability to spike damage in a short amount of time is limited- all they really have is Fester and Energy Drain.

I hope this is a troll post, because 300 damage every 3 seconds... is 100 dps.
