    Post your system specs for us, please.

    And make sure that you have your most recent graphics drivers. In addition to that, check that Vsync is enabled for FFXIV in your Catalyst control panel or Nvidia control panel.

    intel i3 m370 2.4ghz
    ATI Mobility Radeon 5650
    4gig ram

    I uninstalled/reinstalled drivers. Still the same horrendous results.
    Going to try vsync

    This did recently occur after I tried to update my drivers.
    And now I checked the site and saw this.....

    The following notebooks are not compatible with this release:

    * Any notebook launched after this driver release
    * Switchable Graphics enabled notebooks using Intel® chipsets.
    * Toshiba® notebooks (please contact the notebook OEM for driver support for these notebooks)
    * Sony® VAIO® notebooks (please contact the notebook OEM for driver support for these notebooks)
    * Panasonic® notebooks (please contact the notebook OEM for driver support for these notebooks)

    So going to try and reinstall drivers that came with the laptop


    UPDATE:

    Did a proper uninstall then reinstalled. Fixed everything. Thank god
