All the servers were offline, and when they come back on, everyone tries to log on at the same time. They limit logons at those times to prevent the lobby server from crashing. That's what the error code means and this has all been explained.

No, we'll never really be over with it. Because they can't figure out how to handle so many players properly. /sigh

The thing is, why dont they just leave us at Queue instead of kicking us right off the bat?
I'd rather have a nice numbers on my Queue numbers, instead of repeatedly spamming character select screen

Because the que is to get into the world server. When you see a que you are already in the lobby server. When you see the error code it is because they have closed the lobby server to prevent it from crashing. If you can't get into the lobby server you can't get a que.

Then why do other MMO's not seem to have this issue?
Not trying to mock Square or anything, just wondering why it's different.
