    chat log to file (windows)

    (user_home)\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\FFXIV_CHR(some long random string)

    periodically this directory has values placed in it. also, as of 9/5 it had a directory in it named log. in that directory was a bunch of files that seemed to be an event log that also contained chat logs.

    is there a way to either, turn this on/off or turn on/off chat logging?

    i have looked through the interface and have yet to find it if there is.

    It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
