I've posted this before, but this game needs a DoL to replace farming monsters...

Prospect/Triangulate show Mining/Botany locations, a new DoL would have an ability which shows various things like Docile Diremites, or Dead Aldgoats, which you can run up to and harvest Web/Horns/Skin/etc.

Do I want this to avoid the mad competition I face farming Snurble Tufts and Fleeces? Maybe.
Do I want this to avoid getting in the way of people who want to do their Hunting Log/quests/etc? Maybe.

Real reason I want this? So I no longer have to kill sheep. At all. Ever. Seriously. Killing sheep in this game makes me feel... Wrong...

This would be great! DoL-Hunter Nodes are set hunter traps. =D Yields skins, meats, horns, wool, etc.

No, you can automate replies, too. Basic bot programming there. Still, a summoner with garuda-egi couldn't be an RMT bot no matter how you spin it, RMT rarely if ever touch endgame. The ratio of risk vs. reward is terrible, RMT don't do terrible. They only do sure things.

I've never been accuse of being a bot, but i felt like a bot when i was farming the dreaded fleece. I was camping the northern east 2 and after awhile you realize mobs spawn in the same place ever time and as a SMN your AoE ground DoT can be used to claim mobs as they spawn. This became a huge chain of aoe the ground, Bio2, miasma, bio, fester, turnaround aoe the ground, bio2, miasma, bio, fester, and 1 min downtime to wait for the first to respawn. If this doesn't seem like botting it sure in hell felt like it.
If you ever get a tell because the thing your botting, respond. Basic bots are not bright enough at the moment to respond to tells. So by staying silent you became flagged as a potential bot by that player. Even a half witted response will do, like "Yeah I'm a bot, I'm killing these damn goats with my own two damn hands." With everybody so up in arms about everything, begin silent is a very bad idea.

People are perfectly free to make whatever conclusion they wish to make. Why concern yourself over it when their speculation is perfectly reasonable. A silent character that runs in the same patterns doing exact same thing over and over again is very suspicious. Whether you are a bot or not in truth doesn't really come into their deduction - they can only draw conclusion based on what they know.

So, what you're saying is, you don't want others to do it so you instead can do it. Got it.

Not sure how you drew that conclusion, I think he meant that be a little courteous and everyone can do it.
