The guy who spammed me at aldgoats threatened me with a bot report. I'm responding with this thread. Why should I have to justify my actions to someone in game who is being outfarmed?

He assumed you were a bot, doubly so when you didn't respond, because that's what you expect bots to do. Maybe your behavior looked like a bot, heck, i'd probably have reported you too if you didn't respond in a tell. I was fishing today, near someone else, and their behavior was "off" from what i saw watching him. A few minutes latter i get an invite to a fishing linkshell, and it turned out he was chatting with people in it, not a bot but explained why he was acting like that.
If you don't want to be thought of as a bot, respond to people. Even though bots can send tells back too, otherwise, take the risk of being thought a bot and reported. Maybe you were botting and are now worried you got reported and will be banned, if that's the case, oh well.
What's the definition of 'off' behaviour? The second time I farmed I actually started using different mounts, cheering at miners, what the heck are you expected to do? WHY should you have to justify your farming to someone who's cheesed off that you're doing it faster than them?
