I've never noticed any correlation between Good and Excellent. Excellent can appear without any previous Good, and is certainly not guaranteed to follow a Good. Could you elaborate?Quality percentage is an upward curve too, which means the higher your quality gets the quicker the total percentage will rise. Combine with an 'Excellent' condition touch and it's not uncommon for it to shoot up. The only downside is you need condition to be 'Good' before it goes to 'Excellent' and you miss out on Tricks of the Trade's 20 CP; usually an acceptable trade off for the kind of jumps you can get. I've had quality rise by over 1000 several times with Advanced Touch and Great Strides on an Excellent, sometimes even higher.
