    Did you read the latest information from Yoshi? He said something about needing maintenance before the weekend rush to clear the cache in the Duty finder servers.

    He specifically said that that was only for the Japan data center, though. And that it would be from 6 - 8 AM, while it is currently 9 AM in Japan right now.

    I was exploring some high level areas in Thanalan the Forgotten Springs area (scary place for a lv23 to be in haha) on recently unlocked Coeurl mount (finally unlocked it and my chocobo this morning!) and some monsters/enemies where flickering in/out about 40mins ago so my guess their fixing whatever that is.

    My big concern is though, why is it always prime time for maintenance on the NA/EU servers? Change control is usually done (unless it's emergency maintenance) on off-peak customer hours to lessen the impact on your users. Of course it's just a game, but it's a paid service as well.

    Think of it as restarting your computer. Sometimes it needs a break and when you restart it, it performs better than before.

    Starting today my computer started freezing up, then going black, then crashing in instance play (could not get through the Marauder lvl25 class instance). Sure hope their efforts to fix the instance/duty finder servers are successful.
