WHM and FATES

Hi, I'm just wondering how other WHM are doing in fates..sometimes I can't even get a stone off or an aero tick before the mob dies ( over and over) and thus get nothing, not even a bronze in fates often..and since the mobs die quickly, nobody in my party take damage so healing isn't a source either..

Have any other WHM(s) overcome this?

Tab then Aero.

Just drop one on everything and you usually get enough to hit gold. Even if it dies before tick 2, you got a hit.

Oh, and yes, after 45, Holy Spamming is a bit of a winner.

The person asking the question is only CNJ 39.

Anyway, you just have to get lucky with Aero until you get Holy. Just cast aero on everything. Don't cast stone at all, just move on to the next target and aero it as well.

I couldn't get anything from the fates that have multiple, easy to kill mobs, because of how many people are doing this. You can scroll through the other PCs and heal as needed, but that won't get you much either. Mainly because these crowds are so powerful that very little healing is needed. From 46 to 49, I camped out at Dragonhead. That was my most successful spot.

I spam Holy whenever possible ( my tooltip here is out of date, I'm 48 )..but the insane mana cost makes sure I only get a few out, and it takes just as long as stone II to cast, or like .5s longer, which means everything is already dead (on my server at least, we have about 6-7 fate groups almost always in the big fate zones at a time)

The Aero spam.. I can get it sometimes.. but really it doesn't help. The mobs die crazy fast..like halfway in a stone II/holy cast, which is like one second, which rarely ticks. I see the mob, and then when I click the button it's dead ~_~

Do like me, use Flash and heal yourself till ppl kill the mobs claiming with flash gives you gold even if you only claim 3 mobs.

I guess for FATE just switch to CNJ and deal with not having AF till 50 >.<

Find FATEs with NPCs. The NPCs are always targeting a live enemy. Use a macro with <tt> to hit whatever the NPC is hitting or in the case of some escorts, focused on.
