Bored !!!!

So many people "oh you're 50? YOU MUST'VE RUSHED! YOU HAVE NO LIFE! GO PLAY OTHER GAMES!".

No one is rushing, a month from now, everyone will be 50, and not a single person would have "Rushed", but people will still be saying "omg you rushed to 50 what do you expect?" Go play other games? Ok I won't sub, we all won't sub, hopefully the game dies from lack of subs then, right?

Yoshi-P, the lead dev and producer for this game literally stated "The game does not start until 50, 50 is where the game begins" yet, where the game begins is where the least amount of content is available? Does not make any sense. Can't wait for you people who keep saying "stop rushing" to hit 50 in a month then get bored of the game like the rest of us because no new content patch will be out for 2-3 more months after you hit 50.

Seriously, you will all eventually come to the same situation we're all experiencing and realize how lacking in content this game really is at 50, how leveling anything but your main is the epitome of zero fun, and how crafting and gathering isn't everyone's cup of tea, especially when crafting can be done 1-50 in 3 days total and shards are the best gil/hour as a 50 botanist/miner, which can be done at level1.

The world will come crashing down upon even casuals in a month, they will be be bored and have not much left to do, and have to wait 2-3 more months for new content that'll last them a month, 2 at most, then have to wait another 2-3 months for the next patch.

I'm 50 and I'm guilty of rushing, sue me. But I don't come to the forums to tell people I'm bored. I'm not bored, this game is amazing and I have yet to try crafting/gathering!

If you are bored then GO AWAY! you don't pay to be bored, you are right! don't pay, don't play this "craptastic game" I'm sure there are a lot of MMOs out there that will fill your needs. This isn't like when FFXI or WoW came out that everybody had to be playing "the one" mmo. Those days are over.

Let other people take your spot.

If you do decide to stay then stop complaining and find something to do. There is a lot of content in this game for you to try out. I hear the crafting/gathering thing is amazingly done in this game.

What are you going to do when housing comes? come to complain how you don't have any money to buy one? complain that everything is too expensive? what are you going to complain about next after that?

What are you going to do when housing comes? come to complain how you don't have any money to buy one? complain that everything is too expensive? what are you going to complain about next after that?

If you're bored and have done everything you wanna do, you could join a linkshell or free company and help out the friends you make? (It's like, new randomized sidequests everyday, plus companionship and shenanigans.)

This goes for bored girlfriend too. I feel like it's hard to play an MMO unless you really involve yourself in the community. If you're not in it for the people, the actual content gets stale. However, doing things with *friends* is infinitely more entertaining.

I've joined quite a few in the short time this game has been running and hardly any of them talk. I figured it could be a community/server/me thing and decided to stick with one for a bit to see if things change. If it doesn't I'm well aware of the fact that I can join another. :/

I don't know if you've seen this thread, but it might help. It's got a list of some of the linkshells and free companies on your server, with their websites. I suppose you could browse their about us pages and see if anything clicks with you or if there are any you'd like to join. It sounds like you would enjoy a social shell, which doesn't necessarily preclude them from doing game content. In any case, most of these are established and put together enough to at least have web sties, so they might be more active than your current! I hope you find a good one- finding the ls you fit with can really make the game a lot of fun!

ye im in a really decent free company been with them for a few years now and im playing with a few mates from vanila wow aswell , we will be raiding once the content is available for now we are just gearing up in preparation but as my original topic suggested im pretty bored of farming the same 2 dungeons over and over and over :P i made a scholar as the guild needed more healers , i am now 37 on it but again its grinding fates over and over till 50 and then i got to start the horrid 2 dungeon spam again for dl gear , im just hoping or wishing that it was less of a chore and more of a fun process but alas its not
