    "Error 601" If you are still getting this, try:

    Ok, for those of us that were/are dealing with the error, try this first. Go to the SE account management and click the Register/Update Information. De-register>Re-register>input you card information>reactivate the account.

    Please try this especially if you are a legacy member. I think when the accounts got transferred over to 2.0 it messed things up a little. Try that and if that doesn't work, do the waiting time for online support chat. They were able to approve my debit card for use. A couple hours of waiting is work many hours of play.

    I tried doing that several times, I made sure there are more than enough funds in the card, yet I still got 601. I also made sure the problem isn't on my end.

    I will try doing the chat support now and I hope it will work...

    Try using UltimatePay with your CC to add Crysta if its an option.

    If you are a service member stationed overseas and on NA servers, you will likely have problems buying Crysta even through Ultimate Pay. I did, I am still sitting with $75 of unused cards because they wouldn't process. If you purchase a game card and it doesn't go through, try calling Ultimate Pay, they can usually get it through for you.

    Good luck with the chat support. they will just say there's nothing they can do about it and to wait a few days to try again.

    Yeah, that's how it goes =_=

    Unfortunately, I had a 4 days off and was planning to have some FF fun. I really hope they notice something is wrong with their system and fix it soon, otherwise they will lose quite some money and reputation there.

    They are assigning blame else where. First us, then our banks, now their payment processor. All they while saying there's nothing they can do so just wait and keep trying. The sick part is the more we try the more we're locked out.

    How do i get chat support? All i saw was the email support.

    I had to Mog Station and click 'Support Center' scroll down and click large blue box 'Billing /Payment Issues', scroll down and click 'Additional Assistance', fill out required areas. Note that some choices will only give you an email option. But if you choose 'Account/Billing' and "Pricing/Payment' and fill out details, that one should give you the choice of live chat or email.

    I'm sorry if they couldn't help some of you, but after the agent that helped me looked at my account and I explained the situation, he asked for the debit card I was trying to use, had me try to enter it again...it didn't work. Then he contacted, I think the accounting support team and asked them to allow this card to go through. He told wait 10-15 minutes, de-register the account, re-register it, put in my debit card and activate it and it should work. I was a little skeptical that it would work, but it did. But obviously it worked or I wouldn't have posted this. Best of luck for all that are in the situation I was in. I spent money on game cards and tried paypal and none of it worked. Calling and emailing didn't get me through, so watching a movie while waiting and trying paid off.

    So I wanted to put this out there to try to try to save people money from trying different things.
