abusing 3rd party software for gathering(Encourage to report)

It recently caught my eye how many bots who are running around and teleporting from node to node and gathering. You can clearly see that this is often accounts who are made for farming, seeing they have a lvl10 DoW/DoM and a high lvl miner on their character

Ofcourse there can also be normal players, and we shouldn't jump to conclussion that everyone is a bot. However when they start teleporing from node to node, then this is making an unfair advantage for the players not resorting to abuse 3rd party software.

I posted a Youtube video to show how these bots work/look like, and I encourage people to report the players when they see them as often as possible. You might not care, but for the servers economy and to keep the "spam bots" on a low profile, then its important that we take action and help out SE the best we can

I hope they stop this soon! It's already really hard as a gather selling your mats this will destroy whats left of the economy for us. If you believe the other threads on this Square will wait until its way too late and the only people left gathering are bots.

Indeed. This is why I can't stress the matter enough that we atleast report them, to make Square Enix aware of that this is a legit problem. Don't ignore them, and just walk by, as that will not solve anything at all as it is now.

This has been going on since beta but I've noticed more in the last few days than before. I report them when I see them, but often see the same bot days later. SE is too slow. Too slow with customer service, too slow dealing with server issues, too slow dealing w/ RMT spam, and too slow dealing with hacks.

I noticed this yesterday as well while I was mining. I used the ingame cheat report (press esc, choose 2nd option from top I think, then click contact us. The cheat report is about mid way down)

Of course, after a couple of hours the same people I reported were still warping around, so I don't think it's working that great atm.

I'm glad others are making videos, I wish I had fraps or something installed so I could do the same. I just only started leveling my mining, and this is when I noticed them (I never saw this with Botany). On my server they tend to be naked Lalafells...

It also makes me laugh that they're using the "Stealth" skill as if no one can see them.
