    Titan and the server latency...

    Hello there.
    I just found out this video, that was posted somewhere here in the forums, about Titan.

    What gets to my attention is that he clearly dodges the plumes on the ground just by waiting for them and moving. What happens to me is that if i'm outside of plumes for less than 1s, i'll get hit by it.
    THis is really absurd, since some dodge them so easily bc they got low latency, and others cant... Same happened with Ifrit in 1.0 and Garuda and so on... and they didnt get rid of it at all...
    Anyone else experiencing this?

    Set your graphic to lowest will help your move speed.

    Its all on lowest, I have constant 60 fps. I think its really the latency.... Since i'm on Europe and servers are on... well.... Canada...

    The latency is pretty bad for the fight but it's totally doable. Memorize the patterns or pull up a web page with them listed and move before they pop. You'll never get hit. Still needs to be fixed but doesn't stop you from beating titan.

    Indeed, i can do fine untill heart, but past heart, its abit unknown to me the rotation..
    They rly need to fix this, because, it will be the reason for many ppl rage quitting because of such. 1 Second delay on such a fight is ridiculous.

    XIV battle designs are going in the wrong direction.
    This is mmo, not a console game.
    some players are having 200-300ms latency.

    I am not saying you must not put this into the game.
    but something like this every few seconds is ridiculous.

    and the hydra front AOE,
    oh....and boss skill interruption (ifrit,chimera),they have very short cast time,

    and the choppy GCD(most instant skills have a hidden 1-1.5 sec GCD)

    There are too many like this
    This is not fun SE!

    Yea it is really bad. I laugh pretty hard when I see two plumes pop, then a third pop, and they explode at different times. If you were out of the explosion you'd still get hit. At least there's no unknown variable in this fight. It's the same thing over and over. I think even bombs after heart are a rotation. It's a really easy fight if people would just learn the rotation and don't go all gimp in AF.

    I keep that up on my 2nd monitor at all times during the fight to reference it if I ever get lost after heart phase.
