Actually I think what he examples will be more abused. It will also be used to kick cutscenes watchers, new player and any other reasons. Vote kick is a terrible idea. The amount of people afking is too few to warrant vote kick.

I think it needs to be implemented. I never had any issues with the vote kick in WoW and I used it quite a few times with troll players. Just the other day in CM I had a tank that refused to take aggro from bosses/adds. I asked him why he wasn't doing his job and his response was that he didn't feel like it because he was "busy starring at his hot gf who has big boobs." Name was Dofty Reborn. I immediately left after dying 3 times already. There would be less trolling if a kick feature was implemented. As it stands, it takes just one troll to ruin a party. If you have a vote kick, you would need the majority of the vote to troll one person - that is a lot less likely to happen.

I thought you had to do some content first. I didnt think you could just sit there from the beginning because some guy tried to do that to us and apparently him and a few other people didnt get tomes

Yea. Had the same problem with a healer, Davince Skybounder (Gilgamesh) that refused to heal or enter the boss fights.

Just a thought, do they still get rewards if you just mpk the buggers and leave them near the start?

I had that same exact guy yesterday. Didnt want to post his name but since you already did. He never moved once he got into the instance. Just stood there. Was so irritating. Either you finish while taking longer and he gets what he wants. Or everyone has to quit which he probably still gets what he wants. Really made me mad.

Noone want or need kick except who is planning to abuse of it. Expecially on this raid where reward is at the end. The system must be improved to auto logout the afker, and replace him. Simple.

I've had an AFKer in my party, i've had people that needed to be kicked for other reasons. That being said, please NEEVER implement a votekick system, it ruins games and it will ruin this one.

I had an afk healer the other day. I was almost certain he was dying intentionally at the start (not only was he not moving out of aoe, he seemed to be running for it...), I'd blow swift cast to raise him, and he wouldnt get up until after the fights were over. By the first boss he wasn't even moving anymore, I think at one point he said he had to go out but didnt leave group, though I saw him move his character on the map while he was supposedly not there. I had to heal the whole dungeon on my own.

I've seen this once, everyone in my party agreed to abandon the duty.
