WHM Level 45 "Following in His Footsteps" - Bug?

Hi there,

Been trying to get this completed, but when I go to the grave near Proud Creek on the map and Pray nothing happens. I put on all my AF gear from 1.0 for WHM, i've tried it naked, and with other gear and nothing. She never did give me any other gear and I can't abandon this quest either. Anyone else run into this or know what I am doing wrong?

I have a key item "New White Mage's Robe" in inventory but can't use it for anything it seems.

NVM, aparently doing a /pray is incorrect and you have to interact on the tomb itself instead of emoting.

Yeah just started searching for this as I was about to pull my hair out. Searching these forms has someone reporting it as a bug and in SE fashion they put it in resolved.

They seriously need to change the text or how the point reacts to /pray.

The quest log makes mention of the fact that the grave has been defiled meaning you cannot receive the blessing. I did the same thing as you but I guess the answer is in the journal if you look hard enough.

this confused me too, luckily I just clicked on it right after
