What's been your favorite class to level? Which was easier? Have you looked into writing your own leveling guide, or did you follow one already made?

I did follow the typical Fate guide that most people probably googled. But changed a few things. I found all the jobs pretty easy, CNJ gave me a few issues if I ran off alone cause I was trying to maximize my exp. I don't really have a favorite job, my main was paladin which was my first 50, and I leveled everything else simultaneously. So I stayed in areas for 2-3 days doing all the classes.

Levels

• 1-10 the areas right outside any town
• 11-20 I followed the guide and went to Aleport (Western La Noscea), if possible I recommend convincing people to farm the Goblins @ the Crate Turn-in Fate. Because this is the highest level Fate in the area, everyone would benefit in a Fate Party grinding the mobs for good exp. 20+ players shouldn't be Fate grinding here so they shouldn't feel the need to turn in crates cause the exp from the goblins wouldn't be worth it. Granted solo'ers will probably ruin this grind. The exp from this Fate gives so much experience that you get more grinding at this Fate than running to other Fates and getting 2-4k exp per Fate.
• 20-32 Quarymill and Camp Tranquill, South Shroud
• 32-36 Costa De Sol, Eastern La Noscea
• 36-44 Dragonhead, Coerthas
• 44-50 Ceruleum Processing Plant, Northern Thanalan

Homepoint where you level, Favorite all Aetherytes in the area. Don't be cheap when it comes to grinding Fates, missing a Fate cause you were too cheap to pay the teleport when you could of gotten the money back and made it in time to get Gold Award. A good Fate Party will teleport often, drag any unused party teleports into a corner and use it later. *After each Fate, pay attention to your Party's skill bar, they might be teleporting so you dont have to.

Be aggressive, hitting everything is better than killing one mob completely on your own-- when it comes to getting gold. For PC players spam F11 and skill hotkeys while facing the spawn. Tag as many as you can, if you tag and turn it red, you don't even need to continue wailing on it, move to another mob, tag more, or hit purple mobs, red mobs means you got credit even if you don't hit it anymore (unsure about Bosses).

Jump to other Fates even if the current one is not finished, as long as you tag 4-5 (red), and do some damage, you got Gold. Move on, Fates are getting highly competitive, if you want to maximize your exp gain, you need to move quickly, teleport, return, and bail on everyone. Granted one day, some poor guy will be left alone at a Boss Fate and wonder where everyone went.


When multiple Fates are up, use your knowledge and judgment of how much Fate exp and how long certain Fates will stay up, before choosing to go to that Fate. Some Fates like Svara, first two Fates in the line give less exp than the Fates that spawn here, so if say Roc spawns its better to do Roc first and then move onto Svara- you might even make the last spawn of Phase 1, stay at Svara's Fall for 33-50% of its life and if you see other Fates pop- move to them.

AoE's are your best bet in getting Gold for all Fates with multiple mobs, no matter how weak the AoE is. Aero and Bio for CNJ and ACN, tag everything with these skills, BRD can use a very cheap skill Foe Requiem for tagging, its by far the fastest tagging skill.

For CNJ, going off to a Boss Fate alone will net you Silver a lot of times because the calculated contribution for CNJ is screwed up, a DPS class who dishes out the same damage "alone" can net Gold, but for CNJ it will be silver, so put that into consideration. *These are my personal results with CNJ.

Hotkey all your jobs onto a skillbar, hotkey Recommendations onto your skillbar. Check Recommendations for hunting log- if you are a completionist like myself in every area you pass through. I did 44-45 finishing all my hunting logs which took me a day and half.

Most of this stuff, everyone knows already so its nothing new, but if its helpful to people, there it is.

And for me personally, I have my Mac next to my PC, so I am streaming shows, kept me from going out of my mind from Fate grinding.

After leveling a few of my classes to 50, I figured you would get this first. lol. I would see you level one class, then once that reached a certain level, you would switch to another class.
