Dear SE,
I have a few issues here but first off let me say I love the game. It's amazing, addicting and simply a blast...when I can play. I am an educated man with a full time job and a family. I am not a teenager who sits on his ass all day. My concerns are very valid. I reserve the right to express my grievance. Here are my issues:
1. In the last 45 minutes I have received 13 Connection to server lost 9000 errors, 4 Unable to complete version check and 2 Lobby server has encountered an error message. That's 19 errors in 45 minutes! It's not my internet connection I assure you. In the last 45 minutes, I've been about to get about 1-2 minutes of actual game play. The errors need to stop. I have never in my life of gaming seen a more troublesome and failed release.
2. I am all about periodic shut downs for maintenance...but not 3-5 a week. It seems like you fix one tiny issue at a time, then 2 days later you have to shut down for hours at a time, mostly during North American prime playing hours. I understand you are a Japan based company and you're primary market would not follow NA time lines. It still shouldn't take this many shut downs.
3. We are paying not only for the product, but for a service rendered subscription. It has been almost 4 weeks since full release and there has not been 1 single day when I have not been disconnected multiple time due to these messages. It may be just me, but 7 extra days of "free" subscription doesn't cut it. You are supposed to be providing a service, so please do so or compensate accordingly.
I also understand that there are many, many things that we as players and posters do no experience behind the scenes during production and maintenance of an MMORPG. If people disagree with me, so be it. I still need to get my .02 in.
Please, for the sake of your reputation, and for the sake not to be called worse than Blizzard, resolve these issue more timely and effectively.
