    Nerf Up Not Down?!

I think that the development team should nerf up some jobs so that they can be equally effective at there job as other jobs are. Yes, it is about the player, and how they play and utilize gear, but I also think that some of the jobs even with this are outdoing others on healing, tanking, and damage. I think SE should look into it.

    - Warriors could use a buff that makes their damage mitigation a tiny bit better. As it stands they take enough damage at end game that no group is going to want to run any Warriors at all.

    - Monk damage needs to be buffed a bit to make them competitive with other DPS classes. Similar to above, they just don't do enough damage for competitive groups to want any. (This could be taken care of with a Bard nerf, to be honest)

People got to end game in less than a week, and now farm the hardest content in the game...and you want it to be easier? That's exactly what making classes more powerful will do.

What people fail to consider when asking for a Nerf/Buff to classes is whether the class is doing what it was designed to do. If so, it's fine. If it was MEANT to be the same as another class and isn't then sure, fix it. Not because people are scared they'll be out of a Job(hehe classes/jobs). Keep in mind, because of access to certain skils, not all classes were meant to do exactly the same damage or be as durable.

I was scared of Scholars in the beginning but you know what? I'm a damn good healer and I have earned my place.

Make sure you know how to play your class before you decide it's not as good as another players'.

Always buff never nerf is usually a bad strategy, it messes with balance far more than nerfing does, requires a lot more time and thought, and has worse possible results to the game health. Buff's shouldn't be handed out as principle, but only if someone is truly underpowered.

If every job was the same... why have multiple jobs, bad enough you people got rid of arrows "because its too expensive", yeah... lets just make the game more herpderpable.

OK< terminology problems here: A "nerf" is to make something "softer, easier, less painful", as in the use of a NERF bat. There is no "nerf down," as the term "to nerf" is synonymous with making something easier. Thus, there can be no "nerf up," and that term is two ways to wrong as to make something "easier-less" just doesn't work. The terms you're looking for are: Make easier or make harder. When "nerfing" classes, they are made less powerful; when "buffing" classes, they are made more powerful. That is all. So: It's nerf as opposed to buff, not nerf up as opposed to nerf down.
